What Are We Known For? (Or, for the grammar enthusiast, "For what are we known?") ;-)

The name of our group, Homeschoolers Under God, gives us an identity and a PURPOSE. We are ambassadors of God. Followers of Christ. And that is just plain awesome. Above all else, we are showing our kids how to walk with Jesus. And hopefully, through our service projects with HUG, we will also show our community the radical, life-changing LOVE of Christ. In John 13:35, Jesus says, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

Yes, we are homeschoolers. But WAY more importantly, we are homeschoolers UNDER GOD. So let us LOVE one another sincerely and wholeheartedly. Let's be known for the ways in which we SERVE our communities. Let's be known for GRACE. My sincere prayer for HUG is that, as a group, we will shine the light of Christ in every corner of our town. Let us be known for JOY and PEACE and GRACE and LOVE.
