Enrichment Classes In Town

NOTE: We've compiled a list of classes/schools that are available for homeschoolers in northern Colorado, but HUG does not officially endorse any of these programs. For more information about a particular option, please contact that school/program directly. Also, our members are always willing to share their knowledge and experience with others, so please feel free to ask questions on our Facebook page.

Olive Tree offers an Enrichment Program for grades K-5 and a Core Program for grades 6-12.

As a Christian homeschool support program, Olive Tree provides wonderful opportunities for students to learn alongside their peers in a variety of classes. Elementary students enjoy Science Lab, Geography, Music, Art, P.E., and Bible Devotions, while upper grade students may choose from classes such as Logic and Reasoning, Writing, Speech, advanced Math Classes, Science Lab, Art Studio, Worldview, Bible Devotions, and Spanish. Olive Tree students meet at Summitview Church in Fort Collins (1601 W. Drake Rd.), but Olive Tree is not formally affiliated with Summitview Church.

Mountain Sage Community School is a charter school inspired by Waldorf education and sustainable living.  

 

The school offers multi-age enrichment classes for homeschool children in grades 1-5.

 

Classes include Spanish, Outdoor Movement, Handwork, Gardening in the Growing Dome, Art and Music. 

 

Students meet on Mondays from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at 2310 E. Prospect Road in Fort Collins, CO.

T.R. Paul Academy offers a once-a-week, public charter school enrichment program for homeschool students in grades K-5. The program offers a STEAM program and classes in art, music, drama, movement, history, social studies, and character building.

Students are required to attend 8 hours per week, but the hours are flexible.

PSD Options Program

Fort Collins, CO

The Poudre School District offers opportunities for home school students in grades K-8.  Parents remain the primary instructional providers, with the school supplementing and complementing their efforts in a campus-based enrichment program.  Students attend classes one day per week (Mondays) following the PSD calendar. Classes are held at the Barton School Building (703 E. Prospect Rd. in Fort Collins).

Fort Collins, Windsor, Loveland & Greeley

Following the classical method of learning, Classical Conversations participants meet once a week to practice public speaking, recite verses and songs they've learned during the week, and to study new lessons in history, science, languages, arithmetic, and geography.

Master's Hand

homeschool enrichment program

Loveland, CO

Master's Hand is a Christian enrichment program offering classes for students in grades K-12. Courses include Writing Skills, Art, Literature, Biology, General Science, Government, Civics, Choir, P.E., Theatre, and Logic. You may come for one hour or stay all day.  Each class runs for the entire academic year and meets once a week for one hour.  You choose the classes you want! Loveland classes meet on Mondays at LifeSpring Church and Longmont classes meet on Tuesdays at Calvary Church.

Colorado Heritage Education School System (CHESS) is a private school designed to meet the needs of home schooling families throughout Colorado, across the United States, and internationally. Since 1991 Colorado Heritage has sought to come alongside and assist, equip, and encourage parents and their children as they seek to follow God’s call in education.

​

Colorado Heritage offers many services to home schooling families.  One of their most popular services is their Independent School.  With Colorado Heritage as your Independent School you will receive "umbrella school" services (record keeping, communication with your school district) that aid you in fulfilling required Colorado school attendance and enrollment laws. 

​

Colorado Heritage also offers classes for children in grades PreK-12 through its Enrichment Academy.  The classes focus on Art, Science, Choir, History, Speech, Literature, Writing, Grammar, Drama, Math, Chemistry, Religious Studies, and Logic.
