(1) WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Formal attire is required, including shoes. ;-)

For the ladies, modest floor-length or tea-length evening gowns are appropriate; no plunging necklines, bare midriffs, or cutouts, please. Tasteful strapless & spaghetti-strap dresses are acceptable.

For the gentlemen, a dark suit or a tuxedo is preferred; dress pants with a jacket and tie are also acceptable.

(2) WHAT IS THE CODE OF CONDUCT?

We expect all students to behave in a respectful manner. No foul language, no groping, no sexual or illicit dancing, no grinding, etc. Our chaperones will address inappropriate behavior, and they will remove anyone who refuses to follow the rules. Please help us to enjoy a FUN, ELEGANT evening with friends!

(3) DO I NEED TO HAVE A DATE?

Definitely not! While some students might arrive with a date, we expect the vast majority of our attendees to arrive with friends (or on their own, ready to mingle!).

(4) ARE MASQUERADE-STYLE MASKS REQUIRED?

Nope! We'll have a contest for the best masks (think "Phantom of the Opera" masquerade-style masks, not Halloween masks), but these masks are not required. If students DO want to wear a mask, they're welcome to get creative! Homemade or store-bought masks are perfectly okay!

(5) CAN WE REQUEST SONGS?

Students are welcome to email song requests to hugprom@outlook.com.

(6) WILL FOOD BE SERVED?

We'll serve light hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and drinks. We encourage students to eat dinner (hopefully with friends!) before the prom begins.

(7) WILL THERE BE A PHOTOGRAPHER ON SITE?

We're working on this one. We'll update everyone as soon as we can!

(8) ARE PARENTS ALLOWED TO STAY & TAKE PICTURES?

No, this is a drop-off event. If parents would like to chaperone or help in any other way, please email hugprom@outlook.com.

(9) WHAT TIME SHOULD I PICK UP MY STUDENT?

Students need to be picked up promptly at 10 PM. Thanks!
