Favorite History Curriculum and/or Historical Fiction Books?

Now that we're a good 2 months into the 2016-17 school year, we've each had some time to determine whether this year's history curriculum is a winner. If you have a history curriculum that your kids are LOVING this year, or if you just finished a fantastic historical fiction novel, please share the information in the comments section below.

One of the many advantages of belonging to a group like HUG (which is overflowing with experienced homeschoolers) is the ability to share our thoughts and experiences with each other. So if you have a sec, please share your favorite history finds with us.
